Adopting Pets

Hello all;

Yet again, I'm in need of help. After weeks of trying to get my cat shipped back to America, it's apparent that I either spend a around $3,000 on the deed or find her a new home. (Yes, places charge $3K to ship an 8 pound cat. I don't understand this.)

If you or anyone you knows would like to have a very loving, wonderful cat, please let me know. Alternatively, if you know of any adoption centers in Gunma that accept cats, or of any thoughts on how to find a home for her, I'd be grateful to hear about them!

Thank you,
Leslie

Bring her home

Aw, don't leave her in Japan. Bring her to America, her brother misses her :(

3 grand?! that's more expensive than the animal...

but i guess if somone reeeaaallly loves the animal they will dish out the cash, eh? pulling on the heart strings.

Take it to your local 保健所 (Hokensyo /health care center)its a health center for humans but you can take pets there as well. Chances are it will eventually be euthanized if doesn't find a home =(. I dunno how it works really. Also, if you haven't noticed already there are a ton of stray cats running around Gunma so that could also be an option...j/k

here is a website i found... there might be more out there but this looked the most legit.

Good luck.
