Kiryu's Annual Yagibushi Festival

Event Information:

Deemed by locals as one of the best summer festivals in Gunma,
Kiryu's annual Yagibushi festival will be held this year on
August 7th~9th!

The main streets of Kiryu will be filled with fantastic food, drink and (most importantly) lots of Yagibushi dancing!!!

The festival is very easy to find. Get off the train at 'Kiryu' and follow the crowds, lanterns and Yagibushi music!

Put on your yukata/jinbei and get down to Kiryu!

Event Location:

Kiryu city center (3mins walk from train station).

Event Directions:

Take the right hand exit out of Kiryu station, walk to the cross roads (interesction) on your right you will see McDonalds. Take the right and walk past McDonalds. If you can't see, hear and smell the festival from here you're in the wrong town!!
