To new JETs!

Congratulations to our 36 new Group A Gunma JETs! Please click on the title and read this in full.

Welcome to Gunmajet.net; this is the central site for JETs in Gunma to keep in touch, as well as stay informed of events in and around the prefecture, as well as the events specifically ran by GAJET.

Just letting you all know, all of you have a region representative on the GAJET council who can answer any questions you might have, and try their best to help you out should you have problems - as well as helping you acclimatise yourself to life in Japan.

There is a problem though - we can't help you if we don't know where you are. Due to confidentiality concerns, they don't have a complete list of the JETs that have moved into their area.

If you want to get in touch with your region rep (and please do, as they're eager to meet you too), please sign up to the site and leave a comment on this blog post, stating roughly where you are - your appropriate rep will be able to email you via this website (though they won't have your email address until you get back to them).

Being on your own for these first few days can be pretty difficult, so help us to help you. :)

Hello and Welcome new people! You may remember me from Tokyo Orientation (Sean Barry). Hi everyone! It was great to meet a lot of you at both of the prefectural nights out in Tokyo. I'm Jen and I live in Kiryu and I'm the rep for the Tobu region of Gunma which is Azuma, Kurohone, Omama, Nissato, Kiryu, Kasakake, Yabuzukahonmachi, Nitta, Ojima, Ota, Oizumi, Oura, Chiyoda, Meiwa, Tatebayashi, Itakura.
